Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 cups rava


  • 1 1/2 cups full fat milk


  • 1/2 tsp clarified butter/ghee


  • 1 cups sugar


  • 1 cups water


  • 2 nos cardamoms


  • 250 ml oil ,for frying

Directions

  • Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan,fry rava for a minute in low flame.
  • Add milk gradually,stir it continuously till it form a dough.
  • Transfer the mixture in a plate ,let it cool down a bit.
  • Now knead the dough properly for 5-6 minutes.
  • Grease your hands, make small balls without cracks.
  • Heat oil in a pan ,fry it in low flame until become golden brown or as you desire.
  • Meanwhile in another vessel mix sugar, cardamoms and water boil it , and prepare thick sugar syrup.
  • Add fried hot gulab jamun in warm sugar syrup.
  • Serve hot healthy gulab jamun to kids.
