Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 4 Carrot wash and peel the skin and Grate it


  • 1/2 Cup Grated Fresh Coconut


  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds and 2 tbsp Curry leaves for tempering


  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder


  • 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder


  • 2 tbsp Green Chilly, 1" Ginger and 4 Garlic Cloves Paste


  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder


  • 1 tbsp Salt to taste


  • 2 tbsp Oil

Directions

  • Wash the carrot properly . Peel the skin and grate it. Keep aside
  • 1/2 cup Grate fresh coconut. Keep aside
  • Heat oil in kadai. Once the oil is hot. Add cumin seeds and few curry leaves. Let it crackle.
  • Add grated carrot. Saute it for fewminutes.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, green chilly, garlic and ginger paste, cumin powder and salt. Stir it and saute it for few minutes
  • Till raw smell of masala goes off. Add little water boil it for three minutes till the carrot become tender.
  • Then add grated coconut and cook for few minutes .
  • Once it is done. Transfer to a beautiful serving plate. Garnish with grated coconut and 1 whole dry red chilly
  • Now it is Ready to serve with hot.........chapati. This Recipe is good for breakfast
