Bring milk to a rolling boil with sugar added on a high heat at first. Lower the heat as soon as it boils vigorously and allow it to simmer on a low heat for 5 minutes.
Add custard powder mixed in little water to avoid the formation of lumps.
Cook until it thickens on a low heat for about 10 minutes.
Allow it to chill in the refrigerator after it cools down a bit.
Set Jell-O according to package instructions and add chopped nuts on top.
Set in the refrigerator for 2 hours or so.
Serve chilled custard with Jell-O on top to your beautiful kids.
An excellent dessert for everyone after dinner. This will surely be liked by your loved ones. Custard with Jell-O is my family's favourite aftermeal dessert on any given day. It can be made so very easily and requires a few ingredients only. Dry fruits and nuts give it a nice crunch and to top it up, it just melts in your mouth. Any flavoured Jell-O can be used for this depending on your choice and liking. Happy Chilling!
