Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 2 pieces large corn


  • 1 piece tomato


  • 1/2 finely chopped onion


  • 1 piece chopped boiled potato


  • 1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum


  • 1/4 cup grated carrot


  • 1/4 cup grated cucumber


  • 1/4 cup grated beetroot


  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


  • 1/2 tablespoon salt or as per taste


  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder


  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander finely chopped for garnishing


  • 2 to 3 cups of water for boiling

Directions

  • First of all remove the husk from the corn cobs. Wash the corn with fresh water
  • Take a pressure cooker, add corn also add potato ,then add required amount of water for boiling. So that corn and potato both are boiled together.Keep the heat on high flame until 2 vessel. (By the time we can do preparation of other vegetables )
  • After that switch the (heat) stove.Let it cool down. Take out corn kernels from the corn cobs.Also chop the boiled potato.
  • Now take a large bowl, add corn kernels, all the vegetables (potato, tomato, onion, cucumber, carrot,capsicum, beetroot)Add lemon juice too.Mix properly.
  • Now add salt and black pepper powder. Cover the bowl with a lid and shake it so that everything mixes properly.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Corn chaat is ready to eat.
  • It is healthy and full of nutritional value.
