FOR PIZZA DOUGH:In a large bowl, combine 1 cup flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Whisk well.
Add oil to warm water and then pour 1/4 cup water into dry ingredients and mix with spatula for a minute.
Now, add little flour at a time till all flour is used up along with warm water with each addition of flour.
Knead the dough for at least 10 minutes to make a very soft pliable dough.
Apply 1 tbsp oil to the dough and cover it with a clean damp kitchen towel.
Leave to rest for at least an hour or doubled in size in a warm dry place.
Punch the dough lightly and make 4 equal sections of the dough. Shape the dough in round balls tucking the ends together and sealing it.------------------------------
FOR PIZZA SAUCE: Heat skillet/pan with oil. Once oil is hot, add carom seeds. Stir fry for 2-3 seconds.
Add onions and green chilies. Cook the onions till they caramelize.
Add bell pepper and cook till just soft.
Add tomatoes and garlic. Sauté till tomatoes are soft and mushy.
Add red chili powder, tomato ketchup, tomato paste, Sriracha sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
Add little water and cook till oil separates.
Add vinegar and mix well. Season with herbs and finally add cheese. Mix thoroughly.
Cool the mixture before use.------------------------------
PIZZA ASSEMBLY: Preheat oven to 475 Deg F.
Prick the surface of pizza with fork randomly.
Brush the pizza including the rim with oil/melted butter mixed with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
Lower temperature of oven to 400 Deg F.
Bake in oven for 5-7 minutes or till slightly crisp. Remove from oven.
Apply pizza sauce liberally covering the entire surface.
Spread cheese generously and add toppings of your choice.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or till cheese melts.
