Grind all the ingredients mentioned under chutney stuffing with very little water (if required) to get smooth texture of chutney.
Mix all ingredients mentioned for potato covering to form a dough.
Make 6 equal sized balls of potato dough.
Make a small hollow in the potato ball and add a teaspoon of chutney in it. Seal well making sure the chutney doesn't come out of the potato ball. Shape them in oblong fingers.
Heat oil in deep thick bottomed pan. Fry the potato fingers in medium hot oil till golden brown in color.
Transfer them to a plate covered with paper napkins to drain excess oil.
Serve with your choice of dip or condiment.
