Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 2 tbsp mawa crumbled

  • 150 gms butter softened

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 5 tbsp milk powder

  • 1 1/2 cup maida

  • 2 tbsp corn flour

  • 1 tsp baking pd

  • 1 tsp soda bicarbonate

  • 1/2 tsp green cardamom pd

  • 1/4 cup butter milk

  • 2 to 3 tbsp milk

  • 3 tbsp of dry fruits chopped

Directions

    Pre heat the ovento 180°C . I have used 7 ×4 size tin for the loaf. If making cupcakes it yields 12 cupcakes

    Cream the butter and powdered sugar in a bowl till light and fluffy

  • 03

    Add the milk powder and mix well

  • 04

    Sift maida, corn flour, baking pd, soda bicarbonate together and mix it with the cream batter

    Add cardamom pd mix. Add butter milk mix it. If the batter is too thick add milk to batter and mix

    Pour the batter into a greased tin or paper cups. Tap it lightly to level the batter. Sprinkle the sliced dry fruits on top press it with light hands.

    Bake it for 25 mins or till tooth pick inserted comes out clean

    Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool before unmoulding
