Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 250 GMs chick peas


  • 1 medium size onion


  • 1 large tomato


  • 3 tbsp coriander leaves


  • 3 tbsp mint leaves


  • 2 green chilli


  • 1/2 lemon


  • 2 red chilli


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/2 tbsp coriander seeds


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp chaat masala


  • 2 tbsp tamarind chutney


  • 2 tbsp oil

Directions

  • Soaked the chanas overnight for 6-7 hours and pressure cook them for 5-6 minutes on low flame.
  • Heat a pan and dry roast red chilli, cumin seeds and coriander seeds.
  • Pour them into blender jar and roughly crush them.
  • In the same pan add oil , add cumin seeds and sauté them. for few seconds.
  • Add boiled chickpeas and fry for 2 minutes till raw smell vanishes.
  • Add roasted masalas, salt and chaat masala.
  • Mix well, fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Turn off flame.
  • Take a big vessel or bowl, transfer the chanas into it, add all veggies, lemon and mix well.
  • Now add tamarind chutney and mix well.
  • Ready to serve. Enjoy endlessly
