1 /2cup-black eyed beans
2- onion Chopped
2- tomatoes chopped
1- green chilly chopped
1 tsp-ginger garlic paste
1 tsp- salt or as required
2 tsp -oil 1/2tsp- hing 1- bayleaf
1/2 tsp-Turmaric powder
1/2tsp- Red chilly powder
1/2 tsp-garam masala powder
1tsp- Corriender leaves chopped
Wash and soaked black eyed beans in sufficient water for 1 hour.
In a grinder add onion,tomatoes and grind. Make a smooth paste.
Heat oil in a cooker. Add bay leaf, hing and cumin seed. When its crackle add onion-tomatoes paste and cook for 2 minutes.add ginger garlic paste and saute. Add Turmaric powder,Corriender powder,Red chilly powder and garam masala powder.cook it till masala released the oil.
Drain water from soaked black eyed beans and add this in cooker.add salt and mix everything well. Cook for a second and add 1 cup of water. Cover the lid and cook for 3-4 whistle.off the flame. after releasing the pressure remove lid and Mix with spoon .Garnish with chopped Corriender leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
