1 cup-wheat flour
1/2 cup- chane ki dal
1/2 tsp-cumin seeds
1/2 tsp- hing
1/2 tsp - Turmaric powder
1/2tsp- Red chilly powder
1- onion finely chopped
1 tsp-ginger and green chilly chopped
In a bowl add wheat flour and knead to a soft dough by adding required Water.cover and keep aside
Soaked chana Dal In sufficient water for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes wash and drain all the water.
Cook dal along with 1 cup of water in pressure cooker. After 2-3 whistle off the flame .
Heat a pan add 1 tsp oil. Add hing,cumin seed. When its crackle add chopped green chilly and ginger and chopped onion. Saute till onion gets softened. Add Turmaric powder,Red chilly powder and salt to taste and cook for a second. Add cooked dal and cook until dal mixture is dry. Let it cool.
Take small sized ball from wheat flour dough and make a small puri. Add some chana Dal stuffing in center. Close them from all sides and roll again into thick round Paratha.
Heat tawa or nonstick pan .put the dal Paratha and cook on both sides by adding some oil. Cook golden brown in colour both of sides. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
