  • 1 small cup Semolina (rava)

  • 3/4 cup boiled Field Bean's

  • 1 medium size Onion finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp Butter

  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder

  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

  • 1 tbsp roasted chana dal

  • Salt according taste

  • 1 green chilli finely chopped

  • 2 cup water


  • In a pan heat 1 tbsp butter, and roast the rava till it colour changes and becomes aromatic. keep it aside.
  • Then heat another tbsp of butter and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and Curry leaves allow to splutter them.
  • Add roasted chana dal, boiled Field Bean's, turmeric powder, chopped Green chilli saute well.
  • Now add finely chopped Onions saute until the onions turn translucent.
  • next add 2 cup water and salt to taste then allow to boil it.
  • When water starts to boil add roasted rava to boiling water, immediately start to stirring continuously on low flame.
  • saute until lumps free. while rava absorbed all water completely. cover n simmer for few seconds.
  • Further add chopped coriander leaves mix well.
  • Finally enjoy the field Bean's rava upama .
