250 gm red Chana washed and soaked in lukewarm (gunguna) water for 2 hours
1 larger Onion diced
2 medium red salad Tomato chopped
2 seeds removed green chilies chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
1/3 tsp Chat masala
1/3 tsp ground black pepper corn
1/3 spoon tamarind (imli) powder
1/3 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp salt
Wash the soaked red chana twice. In a pressure cooker take chana and 2 cups water, salt and turmeric powder.
Bring to boil and keep on the gas for 2 minutes on flame.
Switch off the flame and let it cool down.
To the boiled Chana add rest of the ingredients. Mix properly. Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
When cool down open the cooker. Adjust the salt and gravy as per your requirement.
