Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 250 gm red Chana washed and soaked in lukewarm (gunguna) water for 2 hours


  • 1 larger Onion diced


  • 2 medium red salad Tomato chopped


  • 2 seeds removed green chilies chopped


  • 2 seeds removed green chilies chopped


  • 1/2 tsp grated Ginger


  • 1/2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder


  • 1/3 tsp Chat masala


  • 1/3 spoon tamarind (imli) powder


  • 1/3 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions

  • Wash the soaked red chana twice. In a pressure cooker take chana and 2 cups water, salt and haldi powder.
  • Bring to boil and keep on the gas for 2 minutes on flame.
  • Switch off the flame and let it cool down.
  • To the boiled Chana add rest of the ingredients. Mix properly. Pressure cook for 2 Whistles.
