  • 2 cups maida

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 cup butter

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 2 tsp instant coffee powder

  • 2 tsp vegetable oil

  • 1 cup milk as required


  • Mix the dry ingredients i.e maida, baking powder and coffee powder in a glass bowl
  • Melt the butter and add the grinded sugar and mix well
  • Mix the butter sugar mixture in the bowl and mix well
  • Add milk and vegetable oil to make the thick batter for cake.
  • Add baking soda and mix well in one direction
  • Heat the cooker with soil at the bottom, and a stand for the glass bowl.
  • Cook the cake for 15 mins and check in between
  • If required you can add dry fruits or chocolate chips
