  • 1/2 cup Gram flour

  • 1/2 cup Wheat flour

  • 1/4 cup Plain flour

  • 1/4 cup Semolina

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

  • 3 tbsp sugar

  • 2 Betel leaves

  • 2 cup full fat milk (if needed add more)

  • Ghee for roasting as needed


  • In a large mixing bowl add sieved all flours, semolina mix well.
  • Add baking soda, baking powder, salt, cardamom and cinnamon powder mix well.
  • In the mixi jar add betel leaves and little milk grind it into paste.
  • Now transfer to the flour mixture , then add sugar powder and full fat milk mix until the smooth consistency.
  • The batter should be not too thick. it should be lumps free smooth flowing consistency.
  • Now heat the nonstick tawa grease with ghee.
  • Pour the 1 ladleful of batter on tawa slightly spread it evenly.
  • When bubbles comes on the top of spreading batter. flip and roast over it.
  • Roast both sides until they well cooked. prepare as same remaining batter also.
  • Lastly serve topping with honey (optional)
