Wash and soak both pulses for 15 minutes
Now boil adding 2 glasses of water,chopped methi leaves ,salt and turmeric powder for 3..4 whistles in pressure cooker
Meanwhile in another pan heat ghee
Add hing and cumin seeds
Shallow fry finely chopped onions and ginger garlic
Now add chopped tomatoes and fry well
Add chilli powder and garam masala powder
Mix this mixture in boiled daal
Cook for 5 minutes more on sim flame
