Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 cup chickpeas soaked overnight


  • 1/2 tsp dhaniya seeds


  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/4 tsp baking powder


  • 1/2 onion finally chopped


  • 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice


  • 3/4 tsp salt


  • 1/4 tsp pepper


  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 potato mashed

Directions

  • Grind uncooked chickpeas, dhaniya And cumin seeds with 1-2 tbsp of water to a paste.
  • Add all other ingredients to the mixture and grind again. Check seasonings.
  • Make round flat patties of about 1” diameter.
  • Now take non stick tawa. Apply little oil and arrange this falafel on tawa and shallow fry by cooking uniformly on both sides till little golden brown.
  • Serve hot with fried green chilli and tomato ketchup.
  • Enjoy endlessly
