  • Sabudana /Sago 2 Cups

  • Roasted peanuts powder 2 tablespoons

  • Chopped potato chunks 1 Cup

  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

  • Chopped coriander 1 Cup

  • Green Chill 2

  • Lemon juice 2 teaspoons

  • Salt 1-2 teaspoon

  • Ginger chopped 1/2 teaspoon

  • Roasted peanuts 1 tablespoon

  • Ghee or oil 2 tablespoons

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon


  • Wash sabudana in clean water 3-4 times . Remove excess water and keep covered aside for 4-5 hours .
  • Assemble all the required ingredients
  • In a mixie jar take coriander , green chillies ginger and some cumin seeds and prepare a fine paste without using water .
  • Heat ghee in a pan , add cumin seeds and chopped potatoes , mix well and cook untill half done. Later add peanuts , peanuts powder and green paste....mix well
  • Now add soaked sabudana , salt and Suger to taste
  • Mix well green paste and sabudana
  • Cook covered for next 5 minutes and then uncovered for some more time
  • Superbly Tempting and healthily Yum Green Sabudana Khichdi is ready .. add some lemon juice and serve hot immediately with your friends and family
