1/2 litre - milk
1/2 cup -suger
2tbsp' -chopped almonds and pistachios
3 cup- water or as required
1tsp- cardamom powder
Clean the millet and put a little water splash and soak it for 1/2 an hour so that it becomes moist.
Now add it in grinder and grind little bit. not grind it too much.After grinded it peel off its skin rubbed with hands. Separates all its peels from the grains.
In a cooker add millet and 3 cup of water. Cover the lid and apply 3-4 whistle and off the flame. After releasing the steam open the lid and add milk and suger and cook on medium heat .add cardamom powder,khoya and some chopped nuts. Cook the kheer till it thickens. Off the flame. Cool down in room temperature. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve. You can also keep it in fridge and serve.
