Wash and peel the beetroot and chopped into small pieces.
In a grinder, grind onion,tomatoes and green chilli and make a smooth paste.
Heat oil in a cooker. Add bayleaf,hing and cumin seeds. When its crackled add onion- tomato paste and ginger -garlic paste. Saute until they become translucent .
Add all dry spices and stir continuously. Cook until when the spices release oil. Add chopped beetroot and green peas and mix everything well.
Add salt and garam masala powder. Add water and mix everything well. Cover and cook for 3-4 whistle.
After releasing steam remove the lid .add chopped green coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice or roti.
