  • 2 cup Wheat flour

  • 1/4 tsp roasted sesame seeds

  • 1/4 tsp carom seeds

  • 1 tsp Garlic paste

  • 1 bunch chopped fresh fenugreek leaves

  • 1 tsp green chilli paste

  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 2 tbsp curd

  • Oil as needed

  • 1/4 cup chickpea flour


  • In a large mixing bowl, take wheat flour, chickpea flour, carom seeds, roasted sesame seeds, green chilli paste, Chopped fenugreek leaves.
  • Additionally add Garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, curd and salt to taste mix well with hands..
  • add water little by little and Knead the smooth dough. ( to adding needed water).
  • Pour little oil means 1 tsp oil and knead the dough well,
  • Now take the small size of dough and make the ball. make this type to all dough.
  • Take one ball and sprinkle some flour dust and roll it with rolling pin.
  • Roll it like chapati desired shape, don't make too thin. It should be little thick.
  • Now grease the tawa with oil put the rolled thepla on it.
  • flip the thepla then apply oil and Roast both sides press with spatula until the brown spots appears on thepla.
  • Repeat this process to remaining all dough balls.
  • Lastly tasty Methi Thepla is ready to serve.
