Mix rice and dal together, wash under cold water and soak for 1 hour.
Now put rice and dal mixture in to pressure cooker.
To that add turmeric powder, garam masala
Mix well.
Now add all vegetables and green chillies.
Add salt to taste.
Cover and cook until you hear 2 to 3 whistles.
After all the pressure goes down, open the lid of pressure cooker and give rice a gentle mix.
Now heat up ghee and oil together for a tempering.
After that's hot, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and dried red chillies.
Also add curry leaves.
Mix very well
Now pour tempering over Khichdi and give that a good mix.
Serve hot with a dollop of ghee on the top!
