I'm a diehard chicken lover n like to try experimenting different dishes made from chicken in my style.Got bored of the same chicken butter masala gravy taste so tried something new this time....Lots of masalas are put in this preparation so thought of giving this name to this dish

Serves : 4
  • Chicken ( cut into pieces n washed) - 1 kg

  • Chicken masala-2 teaspoon

  • Chopped onion ginger garlic corridor leaves n green chillies- 1 small bowl

  • Spices- 2tbsp each

  • Freshly grated coconut -1/ bowl

  • Musturd oil curd black pepper n haldi for marination - 2 tpsn each


  • Marinate chicken with mustard oil haldi black pepper powder n curd for about 2-3 hrs
  • Chrun all the other ingredients in mixie except the spices
  • Heat oil in a pan add tej patta n garam masala .Now add the churned fresh mixture n fry well.
  • Now add chicken masala n other spices n fry for about 5 mins.
  • Add marinated chicken n cook for about 5 mins with a lid
  • Now add warm water n salt n cook for about 20 -25 mins
  • Warm water enhances the colour of the gravy...You can use this tip for making other gravies too
  • Sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves n chicken is ready to serve.
