1 cup-urad dal (soaked and grinded)
1 tsp-turmaric powder
2 tsp - coriander powder
1 tsp- red chilli powder
1/2 tsp-garam masala powder
1 tsp- salt or as required
1/ tsp-hing 2 tsp -oil
8-10- curry leaves
2- whole red chilli
1/2 tsp-cumin seed
1/2 tsp-methi dana
After soaking urad dal grind it and make a smooth paste . Cover and live it overnight for fermentation. In the next day dal looks like this..
Add salt,1/2 tsp coriander powder,a pinch red chilli powder, a pinch garam masala powder in the dal batter.mix everything well
Heat oil in a kadhai. Add hing, cumin seeds and,methi seeds .when seeds are crackled add whole red chilli and curry leaves. Add turmeric powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder,red chilli powder and salt. Saute everything well. Add 3 cup of water.
When the water start to boil take 1 tsp of dal batter and carefully drop it in boiling water. Drop all dal batter in kadhai like this.
Boil on medium flame till it thickens. Add curd.and cook for 2 minutes and off the flame. Serve hot with rice or roti.
