  • Dry green peas...100gm


  • Coarsely grind onion, tomato, green chilli paste...4tbspn


  • Ginger garlic paste...1tbspn


  • Pao bhaji masala...3tbspn


  • Turmeric powder...2tspn


  • Lemon juice...3tbspn


  • Sugar...1/2tbspn


  • Garlic cloves...10


  • Coriander leaves...5tbspn


  • Red chilli powder...1tspn


  • Salt...1/2tspn


  • Cloves...3


  • Cinnamon stick...1


  • Green cardamom...1


  • Oil...2tbspn


  • Garam masala...1/2tspn


  • Green chilli...2

Directions

  • Soak the dry peas with enough water for at least 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes boil the dry peas in pressure cooker
  • Heat oil in a pan & add cinnamon stick, cloves, green cardamom.Let it crackle.
  • After that add onion-tomato-green chilli paste.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, salt & all spices.Fry it for few minutes.
  • Add boiled dry peas & mix it well with spices.
  • After few minutes add 2 cup of water, cover it & let it cook.
  • Finally add lemon juice, sugar & garam masala.Mix it well & switch off the flame.
  • Heat 1tspn oil in a small bowl now.Add 1tspn each turmeric powder & red chilli powder.Fry green chilli & garlic cloves in it .Topping the dry peas curry with it.
  • Serve it with any Indian bread.
