Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup chickpeas


  • 3 clove of garlic


  • 1/2 cup chopped corriandar leaves


  • 2 whole green chillies


  • 1/2 cup blanched spinch leaves


  • 2 tablespoon peanuts


  • 1 small onion


  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice


  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes


  • 1/2 cup cooking oil


  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder


  • 1 tablespoon gram flower

Directions

  • Soak the chickpeas overnight or at least 7 hours in water .Then blanched the spinach leaves . Roughly chop onion, garlic & corriandar leaves .
  • Now in a food processor or blender add all ingredients except cooking oil . Make a coarse paste out of it . Don't make a fine paste otherwise Falafel will be loosing their texture .
  • Next take a small tennis ball like portion from the chickpea mixture & make small flat Parties using your palms . Keep them aside .
  • Now in a pan heat some oil & once the oil is nice & hot add 3-4 Falafel patties & fry . Don't keep the flame high .keep it medium .
  • Once the bottom of the falafels are done turn it over & fry until golden .
  • Serve it hot along with tzatziki dip & salad .
