1 cup chana dal
2 medium sized onion chopped
1 inch ginger
4-5 cloves garlic
2 green chilli
2-3 tsp chopped coriander leaves
5-6 curry leaves
1/2 tsp Salt or as per taste
1 cup Oil for deep frying
Directions
Soak the Chana dal for 2hours in water.
Grind the dal along with ginger, garlic and chilli to make a roughly paste.
Then add chopped onion, curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt in it and mix it well.
Heat a Kadai and put oil in it.
Make small vadas with your hand and then dip fry them in oil till golden brown on both the sides.
Now your chana dal vadas are ready. Serve hot with any ketchup.
