Mexican Chips /Nachos Chips With Tomato Salsa

  • 1 cup maize flour /makkai ka atta

  • 1/2 cup Wheat flour

  • 1/4 cup Gram flour/besan

  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper crushed

  • 2 tsp oil

  • Water to knead

  • oil for deep fry

    In a large mixing bowl add sieved all flours, also add salt, turmeric powder, pepper crushed and 2 tsp oil mix well.

    Making sure all the spices are combined well

    Now add water and start to knead the dough.

    Knead to stiff and smoth dough adding wayer as required.

    Pinch a ball sized dough and dust with wheatflour.

    Roll slightly thick, dusting Wheat flour as required

    Prick the roll with a fork preventing from puffing up while frying

    Trim the sides and cut into triangle shape pieces.

    Now drop the triangle chips into the medium hot oil.o r bake in preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 25 mins.

    Fry on low to medium flame until the nacho chips turn crisp and golden brown colour for 10 mins.

    Drain off the chips over kitchen paper.

    Finally enjoy nacho chips/ Mexican chips with roasted tomato salsa. store it for a month in an airtight container .
