Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 cup maize flour /makkai ka atta


  • 1/2 cup Wheat flour


  • 1/4 cup Gram flour/besan


  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp pepper crushed


  • 2 tsp oil


  • Water to knead


  • oil for deep fry

Directions

  • In a large mixing bowl add sieved all flours, also add salt, turmeric powder, pepper crushed and 2 tsp oil mix well.
  • Making sure all the spices are combined well
  • Now add water and start to knead the dough.
  • Knead to stiff and smoth dough adding wayer as required.
  • Pinch a ball sized dough and dust with wheatflour.
  • Roll slightly thick, dusting Wheat flour as required
  • Prick the roll with a fork preventing from puffing up while frying
  • Trim the sides and cut into triangle shape pieces.
  • Now drop the triangle chips into the medium hot oil.o r bake in preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 25 mins.
  • Fry on low to medium flame until the nacho chips turn crisp and golden brown colour for 10 mins.
  • Drain off the chips over kitchen paper.
  • Finally enjoy nacho chips/ Mexican chips with roasted tomato salsa. store it for a month in an airtight container .
