Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 20 spinach leaves

  • 1 cup soaked and boiled Chole

  • 2 Green chilli chopped

  • 1/2 Onion diced

  • 1 inch Ginger

  • 4 garlic cloves

  • 1 tsp Chat masala

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • Oil as needed to shallow Fry

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 cup Bread crumbs or as needed

Directions

    In the mixi jar add washed and roughly chopped spinach leaves, Green chilli , Ginger, garlic cloves, diced onion and little water grind it.

    Next in the same blender add boiled and drained chole then grind it coarsely.

    After transfer to the mixing bowl add salt to taste , cumin powder, coriander powder, and chat masala mix well.

    Further add needed bread crumbs and combine well together. gently knead it.

    Now grease the hands with some oil, take a small ball size of dough or chole mixture.

    Roll it then gently press and flatten with 2 palms. repeat this process to leftover dough.

    Next heat some oil in nonstick tawa.

    Now shallow Fry the all spinach chole tikki's in oil both sides. Till it turns golden brown colour.

    Lastly serve spinach Chole tikki with Green chutney or ketchup.
