Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 2 cups chickpeas or chana


  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1 spring curry leaves


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 green chilly


  • 1 pinch turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp oil


  • 1/2 tsp mustard


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 1 tsp garam masala

Directions

  • 1.Soak chana overnight to 8 hours. Drain and cook them with one cup water, a pinch of turmeric .you can cook for 1 to 2 whistles on a medium heat in pressure cooker
  • Heat the pan with oil,add mustard ,chilly,and curry leaves let them spluttrr
  • Add ginger garlic paste and saute quickly to remove the raw smell
  • Add the cooked chana ,add garam masala salt ,turmeric and red chilly powder and mix well
  • Saute for a minute, any left over water from the cooked chana can be poured and evaporated.
