2 cup rice
1 cup udad daal
3 tsp or as per taste salt
1 tsp Ginger- garlic-chilli paste
1/4 tsp soda bi carb
1 cup coriander chutney/green chutney
4 tsp oil
2 tsp mustard seeds
2 tsp sesme seeds
2 tsp coriander
3 tsp green chilli split
4-5 curry leaves
1 cup curd
Soak daal and rice sepely in waters overnight.
Grind it to make a batter. Add curd in it and leave it to ferment.
In a mixture, add salt, ginger-chilli-garlic paste, soda bi carb and mix it well.
Spread the battar in a greased plate. Keep it in a steamer to boil.
After 3 minutes remove the plate from the syeamer, spread green chutney and spread the battar again for second layer.
Cook it for further 12 minutes.
Remove it from steamer and let it get cool down a bit.
Make pieces of it. Prepare temparing. Ina pan take oil. Add mustard seeds. After the seeds get crackle, add sesme seeds, green chilli splited, curry leaves and pour this over prepared dhokla.
Sandwich dhokla/sandwich idada/khatta dhokla which is a famous gujarati dish, is ready.
