Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 1/2 cup black channa / chickpea

  • 1/2 cup dried green peas/matar

  • 1 Cucumber chopped

  • 1/4 cup purple cabbage sliced

  • 1 onion chopped

  • 2-3 green chilly chopped

  • 1 tomato chopped

  • 1 inch ginger chopped

  • 2-3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

  • 2-3 tbsp chopped mint leaves

  • 1 tbsp salt or as per taste

  • 1/2 tsp cracked peppercorn or as per taste

  • Juice of 1 lemon

Directions

    Soak the chanaand peas for 3-4 hours or overnight. Drain them well and add them to a mixing bowl

  • 02

    Make ready all the ingredients and take them in a mixing bowl and mix them well

  • 03

    Just before serving add the salt, pepper and squeeze the lemon juice, mix well and serve.
