Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 1 cup boiled Green moong dal

  • 1/2 ltr boiled milk

  • 50 gm grated Khoya /mawa (milk solid)

  • 2 tbsp Khajur Gud (Date Jaggery)

  • 2 tsp / more Brown sugar (as per need)

  • 1/3 tsp dry Ginger

  • 1 tbsp Coconut powder

  • 1 tbsp Clarified butter (Deshi ghee)

  • 1 tbsp chopped dry fruits

  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder

Directions

    Heat the Ghee in a wok. Fry the dry fruits in low medium flame. Remove and keep aside.

    To the remaining ghee in the wok add the green moong dal paste and fry for 2 minutes on low medium heat.

  • 03

    Now add milk and mawa to the dal and keep stirring.

  • 04

    Then add Jaggery and/or brown sugar and salt , Coconut pwd and Sonth or dry Ginger pwd.

  • 05

    Cook for 2 mins without covering the wok.

  • 06

    Switch off the flame and mix the Cardamon power and friend dry fruits.
