Ingredients

  • Arhar dal 1 bowl


  • Ghia 1/4 bowl


  • Pumpkin 1/4 bowl


  • Brianjal 2 small


  • Salt 1 tsp


  • Lal mirch 1/2 tsp


  • Haldi 1/2 tsp


  • Tamrind pulp 4 tsp


  • Dhaniya powder 1 tbsp


  • Sambhar powder 2 tsp


  • Sarson 1 tsp


  • Methi dana 1/2 tsp


  • Curry leaves 2 tsp


  • Whole red chilly 2


  • Rice 2 bowls


  • Urad dal 1 tsp


  • Poha 2 tsp


  • Methi dana 1 tsp

Directions

  • In a cooker add 3 glass water
  • Add 1 bowl washed urad dal
  • Add vegitables bottle gourd , brinjal , nd pumpkin
  • Add salt ,lal mirch , haldi
  • Cover it
  • After 4 whistles switch off the gas
  • In a pan add 1 tbsp oil
  • Add sarson , methi dana , dhaniya powder , sambhar powder
  • Add whole red chilly
  • Add curry leaves
  • Mix this tadka in cooker
  • Add tamrind paste in cooker
  • Boil the sambhar
  • It is ready
  • For Idli ,soak urad dal , rice ,poha and methi dana for 4 hours
  • Strain it
  • Grind it
  • Leave it for 7 to 8 hours
  • In idli maker boil water
  • Greese the mold
  • Add batter
  • And steam the Idlies
