Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup whole green moong dal


  • 1 inch piece ginger


  • 2 green chilli


  • 1tsp cumin seeds 1/4. tsp asafoetida 1/2.tsp black pepper 5_6 curry leaves 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped 1 onion chopped (you can add any vegetable as carrot or capsicum) salt to taste oil as required

Directions

  • Soak moong dal over night
  • Grind it with ginger, green chilli cumin seeds, Black pepper, curry leaves, salt and little water .batter should not be too much thick or thin .
  • Heat a non stick tawa on low flame. Now spread the batter on it. When it gets little cook then add some oil on it.
  • Spread some chopped onion green chilli and coriander leaves on its layer . Cover it with a lid and cook for few minutes.
  • Cook until it gets crispy and light golden . Then fold it and take out in a plate. Serve with green chutney and tomato sauce.
  • You can use moong sprouts to make it more healthy
