Ingredients

Serves : 1
  • 1/4 cup besan


  • 1 tbsp maida/ plain flour


  • 1/3 rd cup of water


  • 1/4 tsp baking powder


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 2 tbsp finely chopped onion


  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 Green chilli finely chopped


  • 1/4 tsp pepper crushed


  • 1 tsp Butter

Directions

  • In a large mixing bowl take 1/4 cup besan and 2 tbsp maida.
  • Add 1/3 rd cup water and whisk smooth for 5 mins.
  • Now add baking powder and salt mix well.
  • Whisk smooth making sure everything is combined.
  • Further add chopped onion, green chilli and Coriander leaves whisk well.
  • Make sure the batter is smooth flowing consistency
  • Heat the pan with butter and brush well.
  • Pour the batter into hot pan. tilt and spread the batter evenly.
  • Now sprinkle the crushed pepper for more spiceness.
  • Further allow to cook for 2 mins on medium flame.
  • Flip over and cook for other side as well.
  • Finally serve veg eggless omelette/ Veg Besan Omelette is ready .
