Take a pan heat the butter until melted or heat coconut oil.
Add mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, asafoetida, Curry leaves saute well and splutter them.
Now add Ginger garlic paste and finely chopped Onions stir until they turns light golden brown colour.
Then add tomato purée and saute till they becomes thick consistency.
After add turmeric powder, Garam masala, cumin and Coriander powder , red chilli powder, and salt to taste mix well.
Immediately add boiled Moth dals stir well and simmer for 2 mins on low flame.
Now off the flame and lastly add chopped coriander leaves to it. Saute it again.
Finally serve with chapati, roti or rice.
