Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 200 gram green moong daal

  • 1 tbsp ginger paste

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1/2 chopped tomato

  • 1/2 chopped onion

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • For curry: - 1 small chopped tomato

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 1/3 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp chopped garlic

  • 1/2 tsp chopped ginger

  • 1 chopped green chilli

  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

  • 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds

Directions

    Soak moong daal for 2 hours

  • 02

    Now remove the water add ginger, garlic ,red chilli powder, salt and garam masala powder

  • 03

    Mix some water and grind the mixture in the mixer grinder

  • 04

    Heat oil in a pan and add the ground daal in it stir until thick

  • 05

    Now let it cool ,make lemon size ball of the mixture which is called goli also

    Now heat oil in a pan add onion ,ginger, garlic and tomato saute for 5 to 7 minutes.

    Now add ,salt red chilli powder, turmeric powder and green chilli along with required water.

    Cook for 7 to 8 minutes on low medium flame

    Let it thicken add moong daal goli cook for 5 to 6 minutes

  • 10

    Decorate it with coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds, it can be eaten either roti or rice
