  • Kabuli chana 1-2 cups

  • Finely chopped onion 1-2

  • Finely chopped tomato 1 Cup

  • Finely chopped garlic 2 teaspoon

  • Finely chopped ginger 1 teaspoon

  • Finely chopped cabbage 1 Cup

  • Finely chopped spring onion 1 Cup

  • Soya sauce 2 tablespoons

  • Green chilli sauce 1 teaspoon

  • Red chilli sauce 1 teaspoon

  • Vinegar 1 tablespoon

  • Salt 1 teaspoon

  • Green chillies vertically chopped 2

  • Vertically chopped Capsicum 2

  • Oil 4-8 tablespoons


  • Wash chana in running water and soak in sufficient water over night or 5-6 hours.
  • Add some salt and pressure cook chana for 5 whistles ,allow it to cool and remove excess water by straining
  • Heat some oil in Pan and saute' chana for 5 minutes on medium heat
  • Take out chana in a plate . Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in Pan, add finely chopped ginger garlic and onion , saute'for a while and add all the finely chopped Veggies to it .
  • Add soya sauce, red chilli sauce , green chilli sauce, vinegar , green chilli , Salt to taste and mix well on high heat
  • Cook for some more time and serve hot immediately

I tried it and very much appreciated by my family and friends. You also give it a try . It can be served as starter , snack or in breakfast or in kids tiffin .
