Soak chawli beans in water for, atleast 6 hrs.
Boil it for 5 whistles with required quantity of water. Add salt while boiling it.
In a pan, take oil. Add mustard seeds and carrom seeds. Let it crackle.
Add hing, ginger garlic paste.
Now add chilli powder, dhania jeera powder and turmeric powder.
Add chawli, water, salt, jaggery, kukum and give it a good mix.
Let it simmer till you get desired consistency.
Add lemon juice and sprinkle some fresh coriander on top.
Serve it with rice and/or roti.
