Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 3 cup washed & overnight soaked Peas


  • 1 large Onion finely chopped


  • 1 medium size Chopped Tomato


  • 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp Coriander powder


  • 1 tsp Garam masala


  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder


  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder


  • 3 tbsp Red chilli powder


  • 2 tbsp ghee or oil


  • 7-8 Curry leaves


  • salt to taste


  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves finely chopped

Directions

  • Take the mixing bowl add peas , wash and soak overnight.
  • In the morning rinse and drain then add water into it and boil them till they becomes soft or well cooked.
  • Now heat the oil/ghee in a pan , add mustard and cumin seeds allow it to splutter them. Then add Curry leaves and Ginger garlic paste saute well.
  • Next add chopped onions saute it well until they turns translucent.
  • Additionally add chopped tomato and stir continuously till they becomes soft and mushy.
  • Further more add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, cumin & coriander powder , mix well.
  • After add boiled Peas and salt to taste mix well with all ingredients. Finally add chopped coriander leaves. And cover and cook for few seconds.
  • serve hot with roti, rice as you wish.
