Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cup chana dal ,soaked


  • 2 tsp besan


  • 1 large onion chopped


  • 2 tomatoes chopped


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp haldi


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp mustard

Directions

  • Heat oil and add mustard
  • When it splutters add onion and wait till it shrinks
  • Add tomato and salt
  • When tomato turns mushy add seasoning.
  • Blend channa dal coarsely and add it into the kadai
  • Mix well
  • Add some besan and sprinkle some water.
  • Cover and wait till its cooked and fragrant
  • Garnish with coriander and serve
