Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1cup basmati rice


  • 1/2cuprajma


  • 1onion


  • 1"ginger


  • 1bayleaf


  • 1tsp cuminseeds


  • 2greencadamom


  • 1 cinnamon


  • 1pinch asafoeitida


  • 1tsp corriender powder


  • 1/2tsp redchillipowder


  • 2tbsp corrienderleaves


  • 1tsp or to taste salt


  • 2tbsp oil

Directions

  • Wash&soaked the rajma one hour.Than boild it.
  • Heat a pressure cooker add oil.
  • Add cuminseeds,asafoeitida& whole garammasala ,crackle 1 mints.
  • Add chopped onion sauted till it's becomes golden brown.
  • Than add 1tsp ginger paste cook nicely.
  • Than add rajma cook 2 mints.
  • Than add rice cook nicely.
  • Add all spices mix it well & stir another 30 seconds
  • Than add water double of the rice.Cover the lid.
  • Whenever 2 Whistle comes off the gas.
  • When gas fully realese ,open the lid .
  • Rajma chawal is ready serve with papad & raita or salad
