1 cup black chana
1 tsp baking soda
6-7 tomatoes
4 green chillis
4 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 pinch asafotida
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp salt
Directions
Soak chana overnight
In a cooker add 1 tsp baking Powder, soaked chana, and cook till one whistle.
While releasing the pressure make a paste with tomato and green chillis.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, asafotida and turmeric Powder.
Now add tomato paste and roast well.
Add salt and boiled chana. Cook for 1 boil on low flame.
Turn off the gas.
Serve hot with chapati.
