Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup chhole


  • 1 cup fenugreek leaves


  • 4 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/4 tsp asafotida


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 cup rice


  • 4 tomatoes


  • 4 green chillis

Directions

  • Soak chhole overnight
  • In morning add baking soda and cook till one whistle.
  • Make a paste with Tomato and green chillis
  • Heat oil in a pan and crackle Cumin seeds, asafotida and turmeric powder. Roast well and add Tomato paste..
  • Now roast it and add fenugreek seeds.
  • Add salt and chhole. Cook for 1 boil.
  • Chhole are ready.
  • Soak rice for 30 minutes.
  • Add 2 cup water in rice and boil untill rice absorb all the water. .
  • Turn off the gas and rest for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot chhole rice.
