Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup green peas


  • 1 potato


  • 4 tbsp mustard oil


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 pinch asafotida

Directions

  • Peel and dice the potatoes.
  • Now heat oil in a heavy bottom pan and transfer potatos
  • Roughly grind the peas.
  • Roast the potatoes.
  • Now take out the potatoes.
  • Add cumin seeds and asofeotida and roast well.
  • Now add peas, salt and roasted potatoes.
  • Add 1 cup of water.
  • Cook untill peas and potatoes became soft.
  • Turn off the gas.
  • Serve hot with rice and chapati.
