Peel and dice the potatoes.
Now heat oil in a heavy bottom pan and transfer potatos
Roughly grind the peas.
Roast the potatoes.
Now take out the potatoes.
Add cumin seeds and asofeotida and roast well.
Now add peas, salt and roasted potatoes.
Add 1 cup of water.
Cook untill peas and potatoes became soft.
Turn off the gas.
Serve hot with rice and chapati.
