1 cup yellow moong dal
1/2 cup ghee
3 cup milk
3/4 cup sugar or as per taste
2 spoon chopped dry fruits
1/4 spoon cardamom powder
Directions
Wash and Soak the moong dal for 4-5 hrs then grind coarsely.
Now heat a nonstick pan put ghee and grinded moong dal roast till fragrant and brown in colour.
Stir continously to avoid from sticking.
Add milk and stir continously till all the milk absorbed and dal is cooked through.
Now add sugar , cardamom powder and few chopped nuts and mix well.
The halwa should start leaving the ghee off the edges. Switch off the flame.
Moong dal halwa is ready to serve.
