Take the mixing bowl add 1 cup of split cow peas, wash thoroughly and soak it for 3 hours and drain well
Combine the chola dal , curd, chopped spinach leaves, Green chilli, Ginger, and 1 tbsp of water in a mixer and blend it till smooth.
Now transfer the grinded mixture into a deep bowl. Add the asafoetida and salt mix well.
Add the fruit salt over the batter and mix it gently.
Tie muslin cloth on top of deep vessel, which is half filled with water and heat till the water boils.
Now put spoonful of batter on the muslin cloth at regular intervals.
Cover the vessel with dome shaped lid. And steam in steamer 5-7 mins after check the cookness.
Repeat this process to make pandolis in one more batch.
Finally serve immediately with Coconut chutney or Green chutney or as your wish.
