Sift together dal powder baking powder baking soda 5 times .
Now add coco powder to it and mix well until combined.
preheat oven at 180c
Now mix sugar oil curd and mix well .
now mix dry and wet ingredient slowly and mix well until combined..finally add 2-3 tbspn of coconut and mix gently..do not over mix .. now top up with remaining coconut..
pour it in oiled tin ..I used 8" tin
give a shake and bake until tooth pick comes out clean.
it took 40 min for me ..it may vary with oven ..check after 30 min.
can have it as a tea cake or serve with hot chocolate sauce to make it more rich
NOTE : Roast dal exactly so that you get a perfect flavour... also make it into fine powder as much as you can..some kids may not like flavor of green gram..for those kids you may exchange green gram with YELLOW MOON DAL .. also add 1/4 CUP OF FINELY CHOPPED DARK CHOVOLATE at last with coconut ..To make it moist , Serve them with homemade chocolate sauce.
For chocolate sauce: Mix milk Coco powder sugar without lumps and cook it in medium flame once it attains boiling point put it in low flame n cook till it reaches sauce consistency .
at last add butter and v.esse and switch of the flame immediately.
When it is warm pour it on the cake slice and serve
can refrigerate this sauce for few days..
