Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups moong dal


  • 1/2 cups channa dal


  • 2 tbsp ginger paste


  • 1/4 tsp hing


  • 1 tsp red chili powder


  • 1 pinch baking soda


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 1 cups oil - to fry


  • 1/4 tsp for garnish : chaat masala


  • 2 tbsp mooli / radish


  • 1/4 cups coriander leaves


  • 1/4 cups mint chutney as per taste


  • 1/4 cups sweet tamarind chutney as per taste

Directions

  • Soak both the dals separately at night
  • Grind Soaked moong dal and channa dal into paste using minimal water
  • Add ginger paste, cilantro, hing, red chili powder, baking soda, and salt
  • Mix well with hand to make the batter fluffy
  • Heat oil in a wok and put small portions of batter to make ladoos
  • Fry until light brown n crispy.
  • Garnishing : Top it with some chaat masala, grated mooli, Coriander leaves, green chutney and sweet tamarind chutney and serve!
